Bio

Glen Mulcahy is the Founder of Titanium Media and Director of Mojofest Ltd. A former Head of Innovation in the Technology division of RTÉ, the Irish National Broadcaster. He has worked in the broadcast industry for 20 years. In 2009 he started training journalists in mobile journalism. (The use of smartphones for high quality content production) To date he has trained over 2000 journalists around Europe, the Nordics, the Middle East and the US. In 2015 he founded “Mojocon” the first international mobile journalism conference which drew 350 journalists from around the world together in Dublin for 2 days to listen and learn from 50 pioneers who have pushed the boundaries of what you can achieve with mobile for professional content creation. After leaving RTÉ in December 2017 he started Mojofest Ltd to run a new annual mojo conference (Mojofest) and to offer unique “Learning on the go” mojo training tours. Glen has spoken at numerous international conferences on the subjects of mobile journalism and drones including IBC Conference, EBU News Assembly, Aljazeera Forum, News Rewired, Circom Regional annual conference, OI2 Barcelona, and many more. Aside from training several hundred staff in RTÉ he has notably trained staff from BBC, NRK, SVT, YLE, TVP, France2, Aljazeera, Symantec, Oracle and others. He is interested in Technology, Innovation and Futurism.
